When it was first announced that Joss Whedon had directed a Shakespeare adaptation, this was not what I envisioned, but the stylized trailer and familiar faces feel like a perfect update for Shakespeare.
Amy Acker and Alexis Denisof take on lead characters Beatrice and Benedict, while the film also features Nathan Fillion, Clark Greg, Fran Kranz, Sean Maher and Reed Diamond.
The movie comes out June 7th and the trailer features the song “Rose Rouge” by St Germain.
