Obsessions – Dance

This is a combo from a dance class at The Edge choreographed and danced by Bobby Newberry. The other dancers are Lindsay Lancaster, Taja Riley, Montana Efaw, Tucker Barkley (how he dances in those shoes is beyond me) and Paula Van Owen. The routine is shown three times which is a great way to watch different people doing the routine. It is very fast and the moves seem really intricate. I loved the back bend turn they did at the end. This class must have taken place right after Michael Jackson passed because the text he wrote was: “FOR MICHAEL JACKSON THE REASON I BEGAN DANCING……. HE MEANT MORE TO ME AND HAS INSPIRED ME MORE THAN ANY ARTIST EVER!!!!!!!! I WILL BE AFFECTED BY THIS FOR A LONG TIME. THIS IS JUST THE BEG. OF COMBOS I WILL DO TO TRIBUTE MICHAEL.” The song used is “Scream by Michael Jackson featuring Janet Jackson.
