Creative Arts Emmys Choreography

Last night the Creative Arts Emmy’s were held in L.A. The nominations for Best Choreography included Mia Michaels, Travis Wall, Mandy Moore, NappyTabs (Tabitha and Napoleon D’Umo), Stacey Tookey and Mark Ballas.

And this year the winners was a tie between Mia Michaels and Nappy Tabs. They were both contributing fabulous choreography last year and deserved the recognition. The routines they won for are below the cut.

Michaels routines “Alice in Mia-Land,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” “When We Dance” “This Bitter Earth,” “On The Nature of Daylight.” And NappyTabs routines “Scars” “Fallin” “Outta Your Mind.”

Mia Michaels for her routines:”Alice in Mia-Land, Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” by Sting. Danced by Billy Bell, Stephen “Twitch” Boss, Kent Boyd,Neil HaskellAllison Holker, Mark Kanemura, Ade ObayomiRobert Roldan, Jose Ruiz, Dominic Sandoval and AdeChike Torbert.


“When We Dance” by Sting. Danced by Billy Bell, Kent Boyd, Lauren Froderman, Ashley Galvan, Robert Roldan, Jose Ruiz, and AdeChike Torbert.


“This Bitter Earth – On The Nature of Daylight” by Max Richter and Dinah Washington. Danced by Billy Bell, Ade Obayami and Alex Wong.


NappyTabs (Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo) for their routines: “Scars” by . Danced by Robert Roldan and Dominic Sandoval.


“Fallin” by Alicia Keys, originally danced by Adechicke Tobert and Comfort Fedoke. (Video Comfort is replaced with Lauren Froderman)


Outta Your Mind” by Lil Jon and LMFAO. Danced by Twitch and Alex Wong.
