Song Of The Day – Till There Was You

I went to class this morning and it was a little cold and slightly overcast. When I left three hours later it was shorts and tank weather. Beautiful! Now my project is finding all my summer music and making a epic playlist. “Till There Was You” has slowly moved up to become one of my favourite Beatles tunes. It’s from their earlier albums With the Beatles and Meet the Beatles! The song is originally from the broadway hit The Music Man and was written by Meredith Wilson in 1957. The movie version is performed by Shirley Jones portraying Marian Paroo. As I was searching for the videos I found a version with Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Broderick and needed to include it. All versions are included below. Random fact about the song was that it was released on the day JFK was assassinated.
