Song Of The Day – In The Hall Of The Mountain King

The Social Network didn’t win the academy award, which I believe it should have, but it did win best score. Ever since it came out the music has been on constant rotation on my iTunes. In The Hall of the Mountain King was playing during the most incredible scene of the movie, the race. This is the most beautiful scene in a movie in a really long time and the music helped perfect it. The score was created by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) and Atticus Ross. Although this song was already created by Edvard Grieg, for Henrik Ibsen‘s play Peer Gynt in 1876,  Reznor and Ross created a great variation and intensified a classic.
